Committal at Southport Crematorium at 10:00am Tuesday 10th December followed by a service of thanksgiving at St John's Birkdale at 11:15am. So sorry to discover Mr. Cotterall has died. I didn't know him, unfortunately, but recently purchased his book, 'The Southport That Was' after seeing an article in The Champion. As a lifelong Southport resident, I am interested in local history. I was going to contact him about the cover picture with two ladies sitting on a bench outside Christ Church as one bears a striking resemblance to my Gran.

My thoughts go out to all his family.
