AlanCOTTRELLDied suddenly on 29th November 2021 at home in the arms of his devoted wife Jenny. Alan Fraser Cottrell of Mitcheldean (Retired Coach Driver). Precious husband & true love of Jenny; adored father of Anne-Marie, Nick & Rob; very special father-in-law of Jack, Lucy & Jenna; treasured Grandpa of Max, Joe, Stanley, Freya, Matilda & Thomas; beloved son of Mary & the late Bruce Cottrell (Cottrells Coaches); dearly loved brother of Bern & Elaine & her husband Steve & a much loved son-in-law of Marie & the late Tom Davis. He will be greatly missed by all his family, to whom he was an ever present source of support, laughter, kindness & wisdom and by his many friends around the country. A Celebration of Alans life will take place on Tuesday 14th December 2021 at 3.30pm at Yew Tree Break Cemetery, Speech House Road, Forest of Dean, GL14 3HU & all are welcome. The service will be streamed live for those unable to attend. (Please ask for code). No flowers please but donations would be gratefully received for the Huntington's Disease Association (for Jack, Joe & Freya) a charity extremely special to Alan & these can be sent to John Hall Funeral Directors.
