David AllanCOUSENSadly on Tuesday the 20th of September, Dave suddenly passed away in his sleep, aged 67 years. Beloved husband of Jean, dad to John, Louise, Kerry, Ruth and Richard, grandad to Ellie, Noah, Oliver, Grace, Samuel, Lilly, Eve, Joseph, Ella and Roman, father-in-law to Dan, Dwaine, Becca, Rachel and Paul, uncle and honorary dad and close friend to many. A celebration of Dave's life will be held at Bottesford Baptist Church on Monday the 17th of October at 11:00am. Please wear smart/casual attire, no black Private party only to attend burial at Messingham Churchyard. All other guests are welcome to remain at Bottesford Baptist Church for refreshments and a buffet. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu and in memory to Dave may be left following the service to "The Health Tree Foundation" to benefit Scunthorpe Neonatal Unit. Sadly gone to soon, sadly I won't be able to make the funeral as I currently live in the North East, this man was how a man should be, he was always there for me growing up both him and his wife Jean. I have a lot of happy memories with the family and will be forever grateful and in debt to Dave, because had it not been for him I wouldn't be the man I am today. There was very few real men I had to look up to as a child then a teenager but this man was one of them, there is so much I could write here but maybe not enough room, so the only thing I can say is from the bottom of my heart Thank you. May you rest in eternal glory
