PeterCOUSINSIt is with great sadness that the family of Peter Cousins (Cuzz) announces his passing on May the 15th, at the age of 66.

Pete passed away peacefully at his home in Hucclecote and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Jacqueline, sister, Janet, his sons Craig and Glyn, Daughter in law Jessica and his five grand children, Ewyn, Rudi, Ferne, Piper and Lennie.

Pete was born in Brockworth to Sybil and Glyndwr Cousins in 1957, later residing in Hucclecote with his Wife & sons for 37 years.

Pete spent many years working as a machine operative at Invista in the Village of Brockworth and was well known for ticking trout in the local streams.

Pete was a lifelong Derby County fan and had no admiration for Nottingham forest or stupid people.

Pete was a larger than life character, always cracking jokes, often at others expense! however was adored and loved by the many!

The funeral service will be held at Coney Hill Crematorium, Gloucester at 12:30 pm on Friday the 7th of June. All are welcome to attend.

Donations to Help for Hero's may be left in the collection box after the service or sent to SC & BS Cocks Funeral Directors, 59 Hucclecote Road, Gloucester, GL3 3TL

I have many fond memories of Pete in our younger years, he was a larger than life character, had a great sense of humour and was a fantastic family man, his wife and boys were his world.

Thank you, Cuz for being the best man at our wedding And a good friend to both myself and Shaun. I remember great times at the Vic, the rugby club and around each other’s houses, what a day we had moving you into the home you loved for almost 40 years.

Rest in peace, you were a lovely man

Such sad news, still can’t believe it. Mates for nearly 60 years and had many a pint together, I’m really going to miss him. Condolences to Jacquie, Glyn, Craig, Janet and all of Cuzz’s family.
