I knew Gerrard as a young man and found him to be a true gentle, kindly and amiable soul ' a good kid' as we used to call him then. he was a friend of my late brother David who often said how nice a guy he was, which was praise indeed from someone who chose his friends carefully. I do hope they see each other again and catch up on those good old bad old days. Rest easy mate....

A Tribute to My Dad

Today, I want to remember my dad for the man he truly was. kind, gentle, and endlessly giving. He had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone, never expecting anything in return. His generosity wasn’t just in the things he did, but in the way he made people feel safe, loved, and valued.

Dad had a sense of humor that could brighten the dullest day, even if his dad jokes made us groan as much as laugh. And when it came to dancing, well, let’s just say, rhythm wasn’t his strong suit, but that never stopped him from trying.

More than anything, he was my dad. I loved him so much, and I always will. Losing him leaves a hole in my heart that nothing can ever fill, but I will carry his love with me always and I will never forget him.

Dad, I miss you. I hope you’ve found peace, and I hope you know how deeply you were loved.

My Dad was a kind and gentle man, he was incredibly supportive and caring father. I treasure the time I got to share with you over the years and the walks we went on. I miss you so deeply and I love you always as you always loved me. Rest peacefully Dad, Jordan. x

A lovely, kind hearted, generous, and unassuming gentleman. With a lovely family that he and Lynette created. I wish that I had said something profound and meaningful that would have made a difference. Rest in peace Gerry. 😟
