FrancisCOWAN-RAWCLIFFEFrancis passed away peacefully in the arms of his family on 12th May. Devoted husband to Lynda. Loving Daddy to Sarah and Eleanor. Francis was a true gentleman, adored by his family and admired by all those who knew him. Funeral service at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Frimley on Wednesday 8th June at 12.30 p.m., followed by burial at Windlesham and a celebration of his life.

I met Frank when working for IBM during the 80s in London. He had recently suffered a personal tragedy. However he adjusted seamlessly to the commercial environment of we found ourselves in. He was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced in life. We bonded through business and the odd bottle of wine. When I introduced him to a then local tradition of port and fruitcake ... well, he took it easily in his stride. We kept in touch during his time in Rome, Hull and more recently Camberley. He was a true friend and I miss him.
