I only knew you online, through our friendship and affiliation thanks to Twitch, but you will be missed all the same. I knew you as a kind and good-natured man who laughed often and was a positive influence on those he gathered. And that gathering was never small, my friend. Nor will it ever be.

immortal_sniper1 : He was a good man, he helped me when i was stuck and also gave me some life advice. His community was one of the first ones I joined.

I loved his organ music. He was such a kind person, no matter what. He never complained, and was always helpful and cheerful. I didn't know him much, but he was the one who found me and gave the chance to be a tiny part of his world. I will never forget that.

Michael was the one who brought so many of us together and it's because of this we have grown together as a larger community. You will always be a root of Red Circuit. We will always remember you.

Like many others here leaving tributes, I met Michael through the computer gaming community. He was generous and welcoming, fun to be with online, and a great person for bringing people together to share their interests. You could tell that in 'real-life' before retirement he had been a teacher, his willingness to explain and help came naturally, and along with his dry sense of humour and self-deprecation, I miss him already. Though I never met him in person, he was a friend.
