William McOwatCRAIG(Bill) Of Coatbridge passed peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, 6th January, 2021. He was 70 years old. Born on the 18th March 1950 Bill was the much loved son of the late William Craig and Elizabeth (Currie) Craig. Bill was a warm, kind and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle & friend who will be missed by all who knew him. He was a fun man, a storyteller and well known by many. Bill was a lifelong member of 2nd Coatbridge Scouting Group. He held many positions with the local scouting movement including the position of district commissioner. Bill was also a proud past president and member of Coatbridge, Airdrie and Monklands Rotary Club where he was extremely active and always willing to give a helping hand. Bill was the beloved husband and best friend of Margaret (Renick's) Craig. He was the proud father of Anne Marie Van Sickle and husband Paul, Stephen Lang and partner Lisa. The cherished grandfather of Kierra, Kai, Daniel, Toni, Emma, Stephen and Jack. Bill was a dear brother and brother in law and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Bill will be privately held by the family with a planned Celebration of life in the future.
