It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Cranmer, who died peacefully today following a short illness, aged 83.
Les was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Caroline, who sadly passed away just five months ago. Their love and devotion to one another was at the heart of his life, and her loss was deeply felt.
He was a much-loved father to Mark and Lisa, and will be remembered with great affection by his family and all who knew him.
Les was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Cecilia Cranmer.
During his working life, Les worked at Alexandria Motors and Findus. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including sharing a drink with friends and good company, and will be remembered for his character, warmth and the memories he created with those around him.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Brooklands Nursing Home for the care and kindness they showed to both Les and Caroline, and special thanks to Trish and Pete Crowdson for their love and support.
A private cremation will take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Les's memory may be made to Jerry Green's Dog Rescue, a cause that was close to his heart.
Les will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by Mark, Lisa, family and friends.
