PeterCRAVENof Andrew Avenue, Rawtenstall, passed away at home on July 23, aged 83 years.

Peter was a retired HGV Driver for Fed Ex and Valley Supply and Wilkinson Transport. He enjoyed gardening, holidays and reading. He was an avid supporter of Burnley Football Club, he also loved local history and supported many charities.

Husband of the late Mary, Peter leaves behind sons Paul, Gary, daughter Elaine and his very dear friend and companion Carole, daughters-in-law Louise and Hayley, son-in-law Kevin, brother John, sister-in-law Terena, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and Carole’s children and grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

A service will be held today (Friday, August 2) at James Street Chapel of Rest at 2pm, followed by interment at Bacup Cemetery at 3pm.

Family flowers only and donations to Rossendale Responsible Animal Rescue. Donations can be made online at
