Jennifer AnneCRAWFORTHof Anslow, beloved wife of Terry and treasured Mum to Adam and Darren, passed away peacefully on the evening of November 25th. She was 79 years old. After a dance at the Burton Town Hall brought Jen and Terry together, they married in 1964 and celebrated their 58th anniversary earlier this year. Jen was a lifelong member of the RSPCA, rescuing many cats and supporting numerous animal organisations. Her other passion lay in art. She was a gifted watercolour painter, and enjoyed sculpting ceramics. She passed her love of art and music to her sons, which is a gift that will always live on. Her funeral will be held on Friday 23rd December at 12.45 at the Carnarvon Chapel at Bretby Crematorium followed by a reception at the Stanhope Arms. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the RSPCA in memory of Jen.
