From all the drivers and staff at Freightliner we were all shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of Paul or as we knew him better as “Biggles” and his Mum. Biggles never failed to bring a few laughs at work and we all knew what planes were flying overhead and where it was heading ! From us all we send our condolences to Paul’s family

I was shocked to hear about Paul and his mother. I only knew Paul or as we called him Biggles for a short time. Hope you now flying every day with your own wings 🪽

Hello, I am the partner of Babs’s niece Debbie. I just wanted to say what a lovely and kind person Babs was. The first time I met Babs 20 years ago we got on very well and always have done. (How could you not) once Babs found out I was a city fan well that was it we would engage in conversation for hours about the blues. Swearing and slagging off the players( Babs not me 🤣. I only met Paul a few times for a short time and he was a decent person who in the end was looking after Babs, oh and he told me a few plane stories. Debbie is devastated to say the least but will have fond memories of Babs and we will never forget her.

Knowing Joe,Babs and Paul since the late 60's early 70's when they lived in Glasgow they moved back to Manchester and not long after I followed and stayed with them for about a year until I got a flat of my own we have had some great times with family and friends and still have fond memories of Ethel (Babs's Mum)so was really shocked to read this notice more so with Paul passing and being so healthy I would like to think both have been reunited with Joe,Stan and Ethel and having a good catch up it has taken a few days to leave this message because I still can't get my head round what's happened but will be forever in our thoughts Sending All Our Love....John and Willie...Blackpool....
