The obituary notice of Peter David (Pete) CRIPWELL

As I write this I’m smiling - because that’s what always happens when we think of Pete. We worked, socialised, and I also holidayed with Pete on the Norfolk Broads. If everyone was able to tell a story about Pete at his Funeral service, it would likely last for days! My abiding memory is of his truly awful rendition of ‘The Legend of Xanadu’ - it was so bad, it was almost good! Pete may have left us, but I guarantee this - he will never be forgotten.

Really sorry to hear about the sad loss of Peter Cripwell, he became one of our Asda Colleagues after his retirement from Rolls Royce, he often kept us entertained with his funny quips and funny ways, on behalf of your old team mates Pete, Rest In Peace.

At Wednesday coffee mornings Peter said I made the best tea as I knew he liked it "with just a small amount of milk". Happy memories, will miss you Peter. Angelaxx

Dad, I'm struggling to get my head around the past few weeks, I'm still in shock. We all know how much you wanted to be with mum and now you're reunited with her. I keep thinking I should phone you before you phone me but I can't now. I miss and love you until we meet again xxxx
