FredCROOKof Haworth Drive, Stacksteads passed away on December 6. Fred worked at Lancashire Sock Company as a press operative for 40 years, and then at J & J Ormerod before retiring at age 65. He enjoyed gardening, watching football and holidays abroad. Fred leaves behind his wife Audrey, daughters Jean and Susan, grandchildren Mark and wife Sarah, Amanda and husband Stacey and Ashley and wife Grace, great grandchildren Josh, Ethan, Blake, Everly and Margot and the late Violet, sister Nellie and husband Roger, brother Edwin and several nephews and nieces. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will take place on Wednesday, December 21 at 10am at Burnley Crematorium. The cortege will leave Knight and Boys Funeral Home Stacksteads at 9.15am, funeral celebrant Kathy Unsworth. Family flowers, donations to North West Air Ambulance.
