Today I heard the sad news about the loss of a friend! It has changed my mood and makes me reflect on the important things we have in our lives. It is clear from the many tributes how well thought of Andy was and I hope that brings some small comfort to his family. He will be missed by many people.

As the Yorkshire Tea slogan says "where everything is done proper", could have been written for Andy. He was always helpful and fun with it. I especially enjoyed his Yorkshire humour and whilst I still don't live in "proper Yorkshire" (West Yorkshire, according to Andy), I will think of him fondly when walking in Farnley Tyas.
