In 1984 we were supporting the Miners' Strike with support groups from the Netherlands (Wageninge, Utrecht, Amsterdam). I myself stayed at Sandra' s and Dave's place at Silverday and Endie with Monica and Ron. I remember Monica as a strong, inspiring and sympathic women. She carried Silverdales community with her work in the club and other activities. She had a strong sense of justice and was an example for us all! Rik Eweg
