Spencer DouglasCRYER06.12.1927 - 11.03.2008 Avril and family of the late Spencer would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours who attended his funeral, for the countless cards and messages of sympathy received and for the donations received in lieu of flowers for the Macmillan Nurses. Special thanks to the Macmillan Nurses and District Nurses who cared for Spencer at home, to the staff of Ward 19, Royal Glamorgan hospital and to Dr Evans of Greenfield Surgery, Porth. Thanks also to Rev Gethin Rhys for his words of comfort, to the staff of the Llwyncelyn Hotel, Porth, for providing the buffet refreshments and to G Healy of Humphreys Funeral Home, Porth, for the dignity and care during the funeral arrangements.
