Dear Dawn. I’ve just found this web page and was most saddened to read about your mother and father’s passing. I often wondered where you were and how life had turned out for you. I do hope you have found happiness and life has been good to you. I never knew your father but your mother’s voice and smile will always stay with me. With love an old friend Sarah Benson. Nee Waitt

Your star shines the brightest. Sleep well.
During some research I came across this site and was saddened to find Angela. We met at a Croydon Jazz Club in the late 50's and I was attracted not only to her but the way she danced. We got on very well together and visited many jazz clubs, went to parties and on one occasion to a Riverboat Shuffle on a Thames boat from which I have 4 photos.
At that time she was living at Beulah Hill Croydon and subsequently at Harold Rd and as far as I remember she was at Art School, possibly Slade or Chelsea.
We had so much fun but then I had to go abroad and we lost touch.
When I returned I got married and still am but I often over the years have thought of Angela with her bubbly personality and lovely eyes. I have wondered how she got on and would love to see on here a photo or two of her in later life. I am 72 now and never thought that Angela would go before me.
My condolonces to you Dawn I am sure you have lost a super mum.
