Mildred JenevaCUMMINGSOn the 20th February 2023 suddenly aged 68 years, beloved wife to John, a loving mum and nana, cherished daughter to Gloria and the late Ruan Lewin, dearest sister, auntie and good friend to many who will be greatly missed by all. The cortege will leave her residence on Friday 24th March for service at New Testament Church of God, Great Northern Street at 11am followed by committal at Huddersfield Crematorium at 1.15pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation and meet at the church. Family flowers only please by request to McNulty Funeral Home, 25 New North Parade no later than 9am on day of funeral. Donations in lieu if so desired to Yorkshire Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Support for which a donation box will be available at the church and crematorium.

I didn't know you well Val, but those few times we met showed me what an immense, caring, characterful person you were. The strength and spirit with which you dealt with your illness over such a long time was humbling. And on Facebook I got to know your fabulous sense of humour and how quick you'd be to acknowledge others' pain and triumphs. And so it was that three weeks before you died so suddenly, ill as you were, you took time to wish me happy birthday on FB. Thanks for that Val. Good to have known you ❤️
