EdwardCUNLIFFEOf Schofield Street, Waterfoot, died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, November 22, at the age of 71. In his career, Edmund worked as a sewing machine mechanic at Newchurch Boot Company and Lambert Howarths, then later in life trained as an HGV driver. He had a lifelong love for DIY and in his retirement, Edmund converted a large transit van into a camper home, tended to his vegetable patch and continued to play snooker - a hobby he enjoyed throughout his life. He leaves his sisters, Myrna and Greta; daughter, Lorraine; son, Richard; daughter-in-law, Carina and grandchildren: James, Jonas and Clara. A short service at Hamers Funeral home in Rawtenstall will be held on December 8 at 12.45pm before travelling to Burnley Crematorium for 1.45pm. Family flowers only.
