Poem for you❤️
In the garden of our hearts, a Yorkshire rose did bloom.
Nana J forever missed, beneath a silver moon.
With youth and grace, she walked this earthly place.
She adorned our family tree, A gentle soul, whose love flowed endlessly.
Like bairns in a garden, we blossomed under your care
Your nurturing embrace, beyond compare
You showered us with wisdom, taught us to be bold, With kindness as your language, your story gently told.
Bairns, grand and great, brought joy to your eyes,
Cherished moments, memories we prize, through treasured photographs, we see your smile, A testament to love that goes on for miles.
Your hugs, like sunlight, warmed our weary souls, A sense of humor, a symphony of laughter's rolls.
A mother, a wife, Grandad's cherished soul mate,
A great nana, with love that knew no abate.
You took on the burdens of others, without a second thought,
In bodyguard mode, protection was what you sought.
Selflessly putting, every soul, before your own, Your generosity and love, forever etched in stone.
You, our rock, the pillar of our kin,
Left us unexpectedly, hearts shattered within.
But your amazing cooking, that taste that lingers, Will forever remind us, of your loving fingers.
Yet, though you're gone, your spirit prevails, In the memories we hold, your love never fails.
Nana J, now an angel in the sky,
Our tears may fall, but we won't say goodbye.
For your soul, dear Nana, forever will shine, In every laugh we share, your presence we'll find.
In the meals we cook and the art we create, Your legacy lives on, an eternal state.
So as we gather here, with heavy hearts,
May your spirit guide us, as we each play our parts.
Nana J, you were one of a kind, In this family, your love forever intertwined.
Rest in peace, dear Nana, as your soul takes flight, Know that your love will guide us through the night.
In our hearts, you will forever remain,
A beautiful Yorkshire rose, who eased our pain. Good night❤️
