Frederick Thomas RonaldDALEFred Dale, aged 86, passed away at his home in Llanishen, Cardiff on 30th August 2025. A Cardiff boy through and through, he was proud to serve his country as a member of the Welsh Guards before working for the brewery. He later moved to Aberfan where he and his beloved late wife Jeanette were Steward and Stewardess at Aberfan Social and Democratic Club for 28 happy years before retiring back to Llanishen. Everyone who met Fred knew a kind, hardworking, generous man who valued family and friendship and would eagerly help others in anyway he could.
Fred and Jeanette enjoyed a long and loving marriage. They had 4 children - Colin, Tina, Michael and Wendy as well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Family meant everything to Fred and he leaves a huge hole in our family.
Fred's funeral will take place on Tuesday 30th September at 2.30pm at Thornhill Cremetorium. The family welcomes anyone who wishes to fondly remember the life of Fred Dale to attend.
