DANIEL GINTYRemembering Corporal Daniel Ginty, one of three soldiers who died in a car crash in Pembrokeshire.
Cpl Ginty, 26, http://www.lastingtr ibute.co. uk/tribute/luton/302 3273 [Corporal James Luton], 24, and http://www.lastingtr ibute.co. uk/tribute/beckett/3 023307 [Lance Corporal Christopher Beckett], 25, were travelling in a Skoda Fabia when it is understood the vehicle left the road and hit a wall on the A487.
The men were discovered in the car on 15 February, 2009, by a pub landlord in the Welsh village of Roch about four miles from Cawdor Barracks, Brawdy, where they were based with the 14th Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare).
Their commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Tim Carmichael, said Cpl Ginty was one of the regiment's "rising stars".
"Having already served in Iraq and Afghanistan, he volunteered to return to Helmand Province and was due back there next month," he said. "So it is all the more sad that he should die in a road traffic accident so near to home.”

I Promised I would have written to you more often than I did, while you were away from England. I've been thinking about you very often in the past, once back in Italy. Just like today, when i searched the net to find you maybe on Facebook...And I realized you were gone, so young and that way. Rest in peace, Dan, I will always remember you as one of the cutest guy in the world, and as one of the bravest soliders.

Love, Ilaria

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years contemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

What separates them from the rest
These men with silver wings
Troopers from the sky above
In whom devotion springs
What spirit so unites them
In brotherhood they say
Their answer loud and clear,
"Airborne All The Way"

These are the men of danger
As in open door they stand
With static line above them
And ripcord in their hand
While earthbound they are falling
A silent prayer they say
"Lord be with us forever,
Airborne All The Way"

One day they'll make their final jump
Sant Mike will tap them out
The good Lord will be waiting
He knows what they are about
And answering in cadence,
He'll hear the troopers say
"We're glad to be abord, Sir,
Airborne All The Way.
