Passed away peacefully on the 2nd of June 2026 at Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen aged 91 years.
Marlene (Polly) of Croes Cottage, Llanwrda and formerly of Pandy Road, Bedwas also Woodlands Close Wymeswold, Leicestershire and Fenwick Drive, Hillmorton, Rugby.
Polly, beloved wife of Byron, much loved mother of Bronwen and Sean, respected mother-in-law of Heléne, loving grandma of Katie, Bethany, James, Isabelle, Alexandra, Christoffer, Elias, Ellie and Hanes, dear sister of Jacqueline and the late Terence, Shaun and Tim, sister in law of Teresa, Barbara, Cathy and the late Bob, a cherished auntie Polly and a wonderful friend to all.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday 1st July 2026 at St John the Baptist Church, Hillmorton, CV21 4PP at 1pm, followed by an interment at Hillmorton Cemetery, Watts Lane, CV21 4PE.
A Memorial service to celebrate Polly's life will then take place on Friday 3rd July 2026 at St Barrwg's Church, Bedwas, CF83 8AX at 2pm.
