Peacefully at rest on Saturday 11th August 2018, in the care of his family and East Cheshire Hospice, after a long illness fought gallantly with dignity and fortitude Brian, aged 81 years. The most precious husband for 57 years of Norma, devoted dad of Linda, Julie and Sue, father-in-law of Pete and Si, treasured grandad of Shaun, Sarah, Laura and Adam. Brian was a much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many who will always be remembered for his kindness and friendship. A Service to celebrate Brian's life will take place at St. Mary's Church, Astbury on Friday 31st August, 2018 at 11.15 am followed by a Committal Service at Macclesfield Crematorium at 1.20 pm to which family and friends are invited. Family flowers only please, donations if desired would be gratefully accepted for the East Cheshire Hospice. A Donation plate will be available at the Church and the Crematorium.
