Devoted husband of the late Pat, dad to Michael and Philip, father-in-law of Sally, brother to the late Brian.

Would friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Tuesday the 28th of April 2026 at 11.20am for service and committal.

No flowers by request but donations would be gratefully accepted for "The Alzheimers Society" c/o

So sorry to hear about Ernie’s passing.

We worked together for many years at the blast furnaces and I am very grateful for his help during the early part of my career.

We also played golf together when we were on the same shift. Ernie was a nice chap and very affable and it was a pleasure to have known him. I am so sorry for the family’s loss.
