BessieDAVEYPassed away peacefully on Wednesday 22nd March 2023 aged 93 Loving mother of Ian and grandmother to Nick and Rebecca, great grandmother to Olivia, Ariana, Harrison, Abigail and Finley. A celebration of Bessie's life will be held on Wednesday 19th April 11.15am at Torquay Crematorium. Family flowers only by request, donations welcome for the RNLI which may be given by retiring collection, online on our website www.kjlackfuneralservice.co.uk or sent to K.J. Nanny Bess was very important to me. I love knitting because it was Nanny that sat down and taught me. Nanny was a very kind, caring and loving great granny and I am so glad we have so many great memories together. She was always very thoughtful and I will miss her terribly. Rest in peace Nanny, I love u lots ❤️❤️

We will all miss Nanny Bess. A fantastic Grandmother to Rebecca and Me, and Great Grandmother to Olivia, Arianna, Harrison, Abigail and Finley.
I have many fond memories of Summer holidays in St. Marychurch.
Nanny would bring me fishing on Babbacombe pier, and help carry up the Mackerel!
She is with Grandad now, may she rest in peace.

Nanny Bess a big part of who I am today. she massively influenced my love for fashion, thrift shops and tiramisu. when I was younger, she would knit me and my 2 dolls outfits. it inspired my love for fashion and design. I have many good memories with nanny bess, like having chats about life and the future. she always told me not to worry about what others thought of me. she was kind and caring. I love nanny bess a-lot, she will be greatly missed, may she rest in peace ❤️
