DAVID FROMANDavid Froman, who died on 8 February, 2010, was an American actor best known for his role in Matlock.From 1986 to 1994 he played Lt Bob Brooks in the popular courtroom drama series which starred Andy Griffith as the eponymous attorney.He appeared in other contemporary television dramas like Hill Street Blues, Trapper John, M.D., 21 Jump Street, Cheers and Diagnosis Murder.He played a Klingon captain in a 1988 episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.In later life he worked as a part-time drama instructor at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami.He was survived by his wife, Audrey, whom he married in 1978, and their three children.
