Special thanks to the Reverend Canon Sue Allen for conducting such a lovely service. Appreciation to Gavin Turner for the reading of the tribute. Many thanks to the district nurses and Macmillan nurses who were a great support and facilitated John's care at home where he wished to be in his final days. It is with immense gratitude for everyone's generosity that raised a considerable amount towards both the local Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK. We are also forever grateful to the sensitive and highly respectful approach of Chris Curry and William Purves funeral directors.
