DouglasDAVIDSONPeacefully in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary on the 31st July 2023, Douglas Davidson, (Dougie) Maxwell Park, Dalbeattie. Beloved husband of Evelyn and doting father to Laura. Funeral service will take place in Dalbeattie & Kirkgunzeon Parish Church on Monday 14th August at 11.00am, followed by a short interment service in Dalbeattie Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please. If desired, donations for Carlingwark House Care Home may be given at the service.

Douglas was the brother l never had...He was my uncle only 3 years older than me.He was a reliable and trustworthy worker. Happily married and a great dad. Sport was another passion and he played a good level of football until his late thirties then moved on to be an excellent golfer until his early seventies. Apart from his latter years he had a wonderful life. Now he is at rest with no more pain,confusion or frustration RIP Douglas l will miss you.
