You and Paul took me under your wings and our friendship blossomed, the happy memories we made on our jaunts will remain with me forever.

From the first day I ever met Clare, she had a certain aura about her. She didn’t judge you and didn’t care if you were rich, poor, black, white, big or small, she treated everyone the same. This is why everybody was drawn to her.

She had a brilliant sense of humour and could turn a serious situation into a funny one.

I feel privileged to have been a big part of her life for 42 years.

I know my life will never be the same and I miss her dearly. Hoping that one day in the future we will be reunited.
