MarleneDAVIESPeacefully on 26th October at Neath Port Talbot Hospital, Marlene of 55, Penshannel, Neath Abbey, much loved wife of Reg, a loving and devoted mother, cherished grandmother of Kirsty, Gerwyn, Baydn and Ebony, she will be sadly missed by her family and very good friends. Funeral service at Orchard Place Baptist Church, Neath on Monday 3rd November at 1.30 p.m. followed by cremation at Margam Crematorium at 2.30 p.m. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to British Lung Foundation c/o Kathryn Suter, 61, The Meadows, Cimla, Neath SA11 3XF. Black tie optional. Enquiries to Les Davies Independent Funeral Directors.

Marlene, My lasting memory of you will always be that summer day when you had a glass of stella and drunk it way too quickly and then spent the whole day in bed. That was never like you since you never used to drink. I still laugh about that day even now.
I know it has been almost 17 years since I left your home, not a day goes by when I do not thank you for everything you did for me in those four years. I hope you realise how much of an impression you and Reg made on my life, I will always be eternally thankful. As I sit here and write this it breaks my heart you are no longer with us.
