Whether it was popping her dentures out unexpectedly to make me giggle or pronouncing Arkansas horribly wrong and not letting me tell her otherwise I loved her so much. She was more than a grandma she was my friend. She was my personal shopper when I got my new cashiers set for Christmas as a little girl and a shoulder to cry on and wipe my tears when I thought life wasn’t going my way. She was steady loving and incredibly strong. I am honored to have called her mine.

You will be horribly missed grandma. Tell Grandpa Trevor I love him. Rest in paradise my love.

Some of the earliest memories I recall were when she stayed with us and I was just learning how to read. Grandma would sit outside with me on the front porch and let me read her stories over and over again without complaint. She’d listen to my made up fairy tales and loved the fact that I told her she lived in a “cardboard box”.

Grandma was the most patient and loving person. I’m going to miss her so incredibly much.

Thank you for the memories and thank you for always supporting and believing in me. Rest easy. Love always, Annie

Consistency

From a phone call, a word of congratulations, or to talk the Three Lions and all things Steven Gerard; she was consistent. She was there for you.

She taught me how to make a proper cup of tea (with entirely too much milk) and opened my eyes to all things “BBC Radio One” and for that I’ll be forever grateful. I’ll never forget our time together enjoying the simplicity of a good game show and what it means to stand by your family. Thank you for being our bridge between two worlds. Strong and consistent.

XOXOX
