Thomas GodfreyDAVIESThomas Godfrey Davies, known to all as Geoff, passed away suddenly on January 16, aged 90 years. Thomas was a proud army sergeant in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, later a proud postman and counter clerk. He was a beloved husband to the late Helen Davies, father to the late John Glyn Davies, a cherished grandad to Natalie, Lorna and Thomas, great-grandad to Rebecca and a loving brother to Pat Davies. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, February 1 at 1.45pm at Burnley Crematorium, funeral celebrant, Revd Robert Airey. The family requests that those attending do not wear full black. Family flowers, donations to Rossendale Hospice.
