Thomas GodfreyDAVIESThomas Godfrey Davies, known to all as Geoff, passed away suddenly on January 16, aged 90 years. Thomas was a proud army sergeant in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, later a proud postman and counter clerk. He was a beloved husband to the late Helen Davies, father to the late John Glyn Davies, a cherished grandad to Natalie, Lorna and Thomas, great-grandad to Rebecca and a loving brother to Pat Davies. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, February 1 at 1.45pm at Burnley Crematorium, funeral celebrant, Revd Robert Airey. The family requests that those attending do not wear full black. Family flowers, donations to Rossendale Hospice. All welcome to join the family afterwards at The New Waggoners, Manchester Road, Burnley. Funeral Director: Paul Swarbrick for Knight & Boys Funeral Service, Stacksteads.

I remember Mr Davies and his late Helen, from my days of working at Co-op Pharmacy, Waterfoot.

They were such a lovely couple, and Mr Davies was always a true gentleman. R.I.P.
