PeterDAVIESPeter of Swansea passed away on 25th January 2023 at 86 years of age. Peter was born in the village of Dafen, Llanelli lived a full life as a professional footballer playing for Arsenal and Swansea Town before becoming a successful Publican, which included The Prince of Wales and The Bay View in the 70s and 80s. Peter's wicked sense of humour and infectious personality made him equally as popular on his beloved island of Mallorca, which he considered his second home. Whilst Peter suffered from Alzheimer's during the last 8 years of his life, he continued to be a well loved character around his home in Killay, known for walking his beloved Westie, Hamish. Peter is survived and will be hugely missed by his wife and best friend of 48 years, Annie, their children Rachel and Simon and grandchildren Oliver and William. He was surrounded by their love as well as other beloved family as he passed, including his sister Marilyn. Peter's funeral service will take place at Llanelli Crematorium at 2.00pm on Wednesday 22nd February 2023 followed by a celebration of Peter's life at The Bay View, Swansea.
