The obituary notice of Laurence John (Larry) DAVIES

I will miss Larry. He was my neighbour first and foremost, but we shared a link through the railway and he always stopped for a chat. My girls were also especially fond of him. A lovely chap who will be greatly missed by many.

I was a neighbour of Larry’for 13 years, he was a lovely man, helped unblock my drains! And helped with my gardening.
I remember he turned out in uniform to salute my father’s coffin- my father being a retired Manchester police superintendent and also a neighbour of Larry

Larry was a stalwart both in professional life and in his railway interests over many decades. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A true gentleman who will always be missed by many friends sharing his enthusiasm on railways in North Wales. R.I.P Larry.
