The obituary notice of Edward Oliver (Ed) DAVIES

Dear Ed,
You were a brilliant teacher, an inspiration and a real force of nature.
The year I spent on the Bangor foundation course, under your tutorage, was one of the best of my life. There must be hundreds of us old pupils who owe you a huge debt of gratitude for setting us off on the right path with your time, energy, discipline, advice and good humour.
I’ll never forget that amazing year and I’ll never forget you and all that you taught.

Very sorry to hear of Ed passing, he was a fantastic and very kind Art Tutor with a wicked sense of humour. Ed was always true to himself, authentic, and would always tell you the truth about your Art Work. You never minded as when Ed said something was good, it was worth waiting for and to strive to. Ed will definitely be missed by many, our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time R I P Ed 💜

Dear Ed - you were a positive thinker, influencer, mediator & friend to all us budding young artists when we were students in College Road. The confidence & energy you and the other tutors on the course instilled in us is still with me today.
