JillDAVISDied peacefully at Brookfields Nursing Home, on Friday 27th January 2023, aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late John, Mum to Isobel and Murray, a proud Nana to six Grandchildren and Great Nana to three Great Grandchildren. Jill, was well known and well loved around Allestree, having worked as a Midwife before going on to run Swan Lake Bird Hospital. Jill's family would like all who remember her to attend the service to celebrate her life. The service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Wednesday 8th March at 11:00am. Black dress is not necessary, bright colours for Jill are appropriate. The service will be followed by light refreshments at The Farmhouse at Mackworth. If you are planning to attend, please do contact the Funeral Director who will pass on your details to the family. No flowers please, at Jill's request. Donation in lieu will be gratefully received and given to support the work of The Mare & Foal Sanctuary and The Elisabeth Svendsen Donkey Sanctuary.
