Harry KendalDAVISAged 86 years on November 23 at Oaklands Nursing Home, Briercliffe, Burnley. Harry was a retired roofer/builder. He enjoyed walking their dog, Callie and holidaying at their caravan in Aberdaron. Harry played football and also managed teams with British Queen in Bacup and Stacksteads Working Men’s Club. Born in Preston, Harry moved to Bacup as a teenager. He leaves wife Barbara, daughter Alex, son Cameron, daughter in law Hayley, and granddaughters Charlotte and Georgia who live in Australia, granddaughter Leah and great grandchildren Joshua Kendal and Anya Mae. He also leaves sister Jean in America and nieces and nephews. The celebration of Life Service, led by Kathy Unsworth, at Burnley Crematorium will be held on Monday, December 11 at 10.45am. People attending are asked to arrive at the Crematorium by 10.30am. Everyone is invited to join the family after the service at the Hare and Hounds, Stacksteads for refreshments and to share memories of Harry.
