AlbenaDAWPassed away peacefully on 14th April at Mount Gould hospital aged 87 years.

Devoted wife to John. Dearly loved mother to Martin and Angela and mother in law to Adrian and Claire. Treasured grandmother to Ryan and Rebecca and much loved great grandmother to Ethan, Rafe and Jude.

Funeral service to take place at St Edwards church on Tuesday 14th May at 13:15, followed by burial at St Edwards Cemetery.

Family flowers only please.

Donations, if so desired, will be gratefully received for Dementia UK.

Sincere condolences to you all on the loss of Lena. She was my mum's friend (Frances Swain-Walker) and they both enjoyed many happy hours together as devoted fans of Argyle. Unfortunately, mum's health deteriorated due to dementia and we were unaware that Lena had sadly passed. Since then mum has also passed, only last week, so I like to think that they are once again reunited and will be following Argyle from above.
Thank you Lena for being a great friend to mum. May you rest in peace dear lady.
