Eric GeorgeDAWSONWith great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved George, on 27th October 2022, at The Royal Derby Hospital, aged 88 years. Devoted and much loved husband to the late Audrey. George will be sadly missed by sons Mark and Darryl, step-children Andrew, Rose and Jennifer, brother Albert, niece and nephew, grandad and great-grandad. A friend to many. A service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium on Thursday, 1st December at 10am followed by a service to celebrate George's life at St Michael & All Angels Church Alvaston, at 11.30am. Family and friends welcome. Family flowers only by request please, but donations in George's memory, if desired, can be made to The Donkey Sanctuary (Charity number 264818).
