DAYTreasured memories of my darling mum who passed away so suddenly 6 years ago today.Another year has passed mum,Another long sad year,The pain is still unbearable,To know you are not here,They say time heels a broken heart,But for me nothing is further from the truth,We did not know the sorrow,That awful day would bring,You just went to sleep and left us,It was so sudden,You were all alone,That is what hurts the most,If only I could have been with you,If help was called sooner,Who knows maybe you would still be here today,But we will never know,You were my best friend,Somedays it is a struggle,To live a normal life,How can life be normal when you have lost your wonderful kind, funny and caring mum?There is not a day goes by,That I do not have a little cry,When I sit on my own,With my special thoughts,If I could have one wish today,With all my heart I would pray,For God to turn back the hands of time,And give you back to me,So please if you have a mum,Treat her with love and such special care,Because you will never know the heartache,Until she is not there.I love and miss you more each day mum, God Bless you, until we can be together again.Your heartbroken.
