St Margarets Care Home Grimsby,
Andrew aged 79 years passed away.

A very dearly loved and respected father, father in law, grandad, great grandad and good friend to many who will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of Andrew's life will take place at
Grimsby Crematorium on
Monday 2nd September 2024 at 11.15am.

Family flowers only please by request.

Donations in lieu if so desired may be
made to either Park Care c/o www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/park-care-24 or Dementia UK and a collection box will be provided at the service.

Unfortunately I'm away on the day day of Andrew's funeral, but I would like say what a wonderful character he was, as many will know, he lived and breathed politics, he would have you chasing potential voters 5 minutes before the polls closed it was a pleasure to have known him, Grimsby will miss his dedication to the town R.I.P Andrew

So so sorry to read this sad news. Andrew was a patient at the surgery I worked at. Always a pleasure to get him an appointment or sort out his medication. He was also willing to advise on great holiday destinations too. He will be sadly missed.

Saddened when I read of Councillor De Freitas passing away recently. I met this lovely guy once many years ago while carrying out door-to-door in our area. At the time I’d had an operation and was struggling to put my green bin out. This kind and sincere man did this for me and took the time to ask after my wellbeing. I did not realise until recently reading his tributes that at that time he was actually the Leader at the Council. He just said his name was Andrew? This was in 2009. I still recall that day and associate it with Councillor De Freitas. Sincere condolences to your family
