This is terribly sad.

Peter was a kind, gentle, self-contained and modest man whom I first met at Swansea University in the 1970s.

He was shy but determined and wrote some wonderfully original poems which, happily, will live on forever.

What a fine and decent fellow he was - a real one-off and a beacon of goodness.
