Trevor VincentDEAKINPassed away at his home in Lumb on Saturday 30th May, aged 79 years. Born in Littleborough, Trev moved to Rossendale 55 years ago. He will be sadly missed and leaves his loving wife of 59 years Rita, son Chris, daughter-in-law Carole, granddaughter Kate and 4 great-grandchildren, Logan, Amber, Henley and Vinny Joe. Trev spent most of his working life as a HGV driver before taking early retirement. He was interested in wildlife and conservation and had been a member of the British Association for Shooting and Conservation and the Prince Albert Angling Society. In later years he enjoyed several winters in Southern Spain with Rita. Latterly he spent time pottering in his shed and made bird nesting boxes which he gave away to friends. The funeral will be held at Burnley Crematorium on Thursday 11th June at 1.45pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Rossendale Hospice, either directly or via the Funeral Director.
