JimDEAN(Christopher James) Passed away peacefully on 3rd August 2020 aged 91 years. Husband to the late Pamela, Father to Louise and Peter, Grandfather to Hania and Evia. Funeral service is to take place on Thursday 20th August at Cambridge City Crematorium. Due to government restrictions please contact the family for further details. Family flowers only. Donations can be made to Dementia UK.

Jimmy, a true friend, loyal, trusted and very funny company on a night out. Without Jimmy, Shelford FC would not have been such a successful football club. Jimmy, you will be missed and remembered.

The greatest of friends joined together in Shelford Football Club.
Sneaking off like naughty school boys Jim and Little Brian were always commenting on Tom’s ability to reuse the teabags for the sake of club funds!
Jim was a great friend to Tom and Charles and our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

If anyone could be called 'Mr Shelford' it is Jimmy. What a character! Huge warmth and humour. An unforgettable person with a unique ability to engage with anyone and everyone. He loved our family and we loved him.
