I first met Janice in church and always sat near her as she had a lovely singing voice. We soon became friends and when I discovered her interest in the arts, we joined the Bristol Arts Society and took it in turns to drive into Bristol each month whatever the weather on those dark and often very wet evenings. But Janice was always so positive and ready for an outing. We enjoyed a holiday together in Portugal and many a tipple with friends in the village. I much admired her talent for making jewelry and I know she derived much pleasure from that.
She will be much missed, Mary M
