Passed away on 5 October 2022, aged 96 years.
She moved to Stafford when she married Walter in 1952 and dedicated much of her life to supporting the Town and its communities.
A past Mayoress and supporter of many local charities with her time and energy, including The Red Cross and Cerebral Palsy Mid Staffordshire.
Other major interests included Baswich Church, Stafford Conservatives, the Ex WRNS Association, Girl Guides, Walton School and Brocton Golf Club. Anthea was a keen Bridge player with 3 local Groups and an enthusiastic gardener, even at 96.
A much loved and wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who will be remembered by family and friends for her charm, kindness, positive outlook and genuine interest in everyone she met.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday 3rd November at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Baswich followed by cremation at Stafford Crematorium.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Berkswich PCC and Cancer Research UK.
