DENISE HENDRYRemembering Denise Hendry, the wife of footballer Colin Hendry, who died in Salford Royal Hospital on 10 July, 2009.Mrs Hendry, who was also survived by her four children, had been in a coma for a number of weeks following a complication during a hospital procedure.Her husband, Colin Hendry, a former Premiership and SPL star and Scottish international, was at her bedside when she died.She was 42 and lived in Lytham, Lancashire. She and Colin had been together for more than 20 years.Scottish Football Association chief executive Gordon Smith said: "This is devastating news for Colin and his family."The thoughts of everyone at the Scottish FA and, I am sure, everyone associated with the game here in Scotland are with them at this tragic time."
