Thomas, you were so brave and fought until the end to stay with me. We should have had another 30 years together but it was not meant to be. I love you so much and I will miss you everyday but I know you will still always be there for me, looking after me like you promised. Deepest sympathy to Ann-Marie and all of Thomas's family. Thomas was a loved and cherished friend to us all. He was the best of us, hilariously funny, wise, loyal, courageous and just the nicest person you could ever wish to meet. We are all brokenhearted and will miss him dearly for the rest of our lives.
